Whois Privacy Protection in Cloud Hosting
You can quickly activate Whois Privacy Protection for any domain that you have registered through our company if you have a cloud hosting account with us. This can be achieved through the same Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you administer the web hosting account itself, so you will not need to go through different user interfaces. In the exact same section where all your active domain names will be listed, there will be an “Whois Privacy Protection” icon for each domain name whose extension supports the service. The status of that icon will quickly show you if the Whois Privacy Protection service is enabled for a particular domain name or not and by clicking on that icon you can add the service if you have not done so during the signup procedure. Moreover, you will also be able to renew or to deactivate the Whois Privacy Protection service for any domain name using that same icon and the change will take effect straight away.
Whois Privacy Protection in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Ordering Whois Privacy Protection for any domain is surprisingly easy if you’ve got a semi-dedicated server. If the domain is registered through us, it will be listed in the Registered Domains section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel that comes with each semi-dedicated plan. If a given generic or country-code domain name supports Whois Privacy Protection, you’ll notice a mini logo on the right-hand side of that domain. To activate the service, you will need to click on it. In the same fashion, you can also renew or remove the service. You can activate Whois Privacy Protection for a domain name during the account order procedure too, but since the service is optional, we will give you the possibility to add it to any of your domain names later if you think things over and opt to hide your private info from the general public after you have already ordered the semi-dedicated account.
