No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Cloud Hosting
We guarantee the integrity of the information uploaded in every cloud hosting account which is made on our cloud platform as we work with the advanced ZFS file system. The aforementioned is the only one that was designed to avoid silent data corruption through a unique checksum for every single file. We'll store your info on multiple SSD drives that operate in a RAID, so the same files will be available on several places at once. ZFS checks the digital fingerprint of all the files on all of the drives in real time and in the event that the checksum of any file differs from what it should be, the file system swaps that file with an undamaged version from another drive in the RAID. No other file system uses checksums, so it is easy for data to be silently damaged and the bad file to be replicated on all drives with time, but since this can never happen on a server running ZFS, you will not have to worry about the integrity of your data.
No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Hosting
In case you go for one of our semi-dedicated hosting solutions, you will not need to be concerned about silent data corruption because we use ZFS - a high level file system that monitors all files in real time. Whenever you upload a file to your website hosting account, ZFS will assign a unique digital fingerprint to it - the so-called checksum. This file will be synced between multiple SSD drives for redundancy, so if a drive fails, the other ones will take control. ZFS compares the checksum of all the copies on the different drives and if it detects a corrupted copy, it replaces it with a healthy one from a different drive. This is done right away, so there will be no threat for any part of your content at any time. In comparison, alternative file systems execute checks after a system breakdown, but since they don't use anything similar to the checksums which ZFS uses, they cannot detect silently corrupted files, so a bad copy may be replicated on the other disks as well and you could lose crucial information. Since this isn't the case with ZFS, we are able to guarantee the integrity of each file you upload no matter what.
